Who we are
easylancing is operated by Pradeep Kumar, India. For any privacy question or request, contact us by email at support@easylancing.in .
What we collect
- Your email address, to create your account and send log-in links and reminders.
- Exporter details: name, address, State, PAN, GSTIN, IEC, and bank account details where your export payments land.
- Your business records: clients (names, addresses, countries, tax IDs), invoices, payments, export declarations, letters and the documents you upload. Client details are personal data of others; enter only what you are entitled to use.
- Technical data: your IP address (for security and to limit abuse) and a session cookie that keeps you logged in, plus a "remember me" cookie if you choose it. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
The free tools (invoice generator, EDF generator, due-date calculator) don't store anything you type in their forms. We count, anonymously, how many times each tool's document is printed and in which bank format, with no link to you, your device or what you typed.
EDF reminders (optional). If you ask for EDF reminders on a free tool, we keep only your email address, where you asked from, and when you confirmed or stopped. We email you a confirmation link and nothing else until you confirm; then one reminder a month, seven days before the EDF due date. Every reminder has a one-click link to stop. Requests not confirmed within 30 days are deleted; after you stop, we keep the address only to honour your choice. Email is sent through our email provider.
Why we use it
Only to provide easylancing to you: to prepare your documents, show your deadlines, send the emails you need (you can turn reminders off), keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations. By creating an account you consent to this. You can withdraw consent by deleting your account.
Who we share it with
We run easylancing on cloud providers (hosting, storage and email), some of which are outside India. We share your data with them only to provide the service. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
AI document reading (optional)
When you import a FIRA or bank advice, we first read it on our own servers. Only if you have switched on AI reading in Settings and ask for it on that document, we send it to Anthropic (Claude), outside India, to read what we couldn't: a copy with your PAN, Aadhaar, account numbers, email, phone, and your own name and address removed, or, for a scanned document with no text, the document itself. Anthropic's commercial terms don't allow it to train its models on this data. Nothing it reads is saved until you check and confirm it. AI reading is off by default and you can turn it off at any time.
How we protect it
What we encrypt. Your PAN, GSTIN, IEC and bank account numbers, the frozen copies of your issued invoices and export declarations, the documents you upload, and our database backups are encrypted before they are stored. They are decrypted only to show them to you and to produce your documents. All traffic uses HTTPS.
How long we keep it
We keep your records while your account is active. When you delete your account we erase your profile, bank details, clients, invoices, receipts and declarations. We keep a minimal security log of account actions (for example "invoice issued" or "account deleted") for one year, then delete it. Encrypted backups are kept for up to 35 days.
You remain responsible for keeping your own business records: GST requires 72 months from the annual return due date, and income tax requires 7 tax years. Please download your data before deleting your account.
Your choices and rights
You can see and correct your data in the app, download all of it from your account settings, and delete your account at any time. For anything else, or a complaint, contact our grievance officer.
