Recommendations
- Submit a standing Disposal Instruction with your services purpose code (e.g. P0802) so every client payment is coded as export income.
- Keep invoices/contracts ready for any single receipt of USD 10,000 or more.
- NiyoX/Niyo Global-Equitas accounts lost app access from 1 Jun 2025. Former Niyo users banking with Equitas must deal with Equitas directly.
- Ask the branch where services EDFs go. No policy was published as of 4 Oct 2026.
- Ask your branch or relationship manager how it wants the monthly EDF for services. Most banks take it at the branch or through the relationship manager; business customers may be able to use a trade portal.
- Ask whether it accepts PAN when you don't have an IEC.
- Take the printed EDF, the covering letter, copies of the invoices and any FIRA / e-FIRC.
- Your bank must publish its export policy on its website (Reg. 19). Look for "export" or "FEMA" policy documents there.
