Recommendations

  • DCB is also the bank behind Niyo Global. Niyo users must deal with DCB Bank (branch/customer care) for EDFs, not the Niyo app.
  • Ask a branch for the Reg. 19 export policy and the EDF channel. Nothing was published as of 4 Oct 2026.
  • DCB's EEFC is described for regular FX earners; check whether it is offered to individual freelancers.
  • Ask your branch or relationship manager how it wants the monthly EDF for services. Most banks take it at the branch or through the relationship manager; business customers may be able to use a trade portal.
  • Ask whether it accepts PAN when you don't have an IEC.
  • Take the printed EDF, the covering letter, copies of the invoices and any FIRA / e-FIRC.
  • Your bank must publish its export policy on its website (Reg. 19). Look for "export" or "FEMA" policy documents there.
